Guys, is it possible to use ISTA-D 4.10.30 with 4.12.41 SQLiteDBs? I want to keep "Basic Features" with the newest database.
PS: I know, that i can change the registry to (like below), but did someone try this?

This is not possible!At the database al the information is stil there. The selection is done in the "main" program so te only option is to instal older version.

Ok. It works ("Basic Features" is available)

a) I have installed ISTA 4.12.41 with SQLiteDBs 4.12.41 using spider80' FAQ in C:\BMW folder

b) go to "C:\BMW\Rheingold" folder and rename "TesterGUI" into "TesterGUI_4.12.41" (or _bak - to make copy)

c) download "ISTA-D 4.10.41.7z" and copy "TesterGUI" from this version into "C:\BMW\Rheingold" folder

d) open both folders: "C:\BMW\Rheingold\TesterGUI_4.12.41\bin\Release\" and "C:\BMW\Rheingold\TesterGUI\bin\Release\"

e) copy these files (list below) from "C:\BMW\Rheingold\TesterGUI_4.12.41\bin\Release\" into C:\BMW\Rheingold\"TesterGUI\bin\Release\"

document-export-add-meta-tag-utf8.xsl
ISTAGUI.cfg
IstaOperation.exe.config
ISTAGUI.exe.config
IstaServicesHost.exe.config

f) Start ISTA-D as usual. Ta-Da !!! It works and "Basic Features" is available too





PS: The TesterGUI is only "engine" of ISTA database, so using the older one works. I will investigate, where the changes in TesterGUI appeared. Maybe I will pinpoint the exact location/module/config to bring back "Basic Features" in >4.11 versions
