Dear All,

I`ve installed a cruise control retrofit in my A3 8V. Now I can`t use it without correct coding.
Could anyone give me a hint how I can code the cc correctly with ODIS? Sorry I`m a newby in codings maybe its super easy?

You Can activate Only via SWaP

I retrofitted CC on my Q3, coding will be the same I think and have done only with VCDS, no registration code needed.

Using VCDS, on module 01-Engine, on Coding search for a bit about Cruice Control and enable it.

Then write here the coding of module 44-Steering Assist and I will tell you which bit to check, because VCDS doesn't have label files yet

A3 8v cruis control is an activation of gateway by Swap code . Go on audi . You can olso put ACC with distance regolati on unit . Acc no need swap code but need safe cp unlock and calibration.

SVM coding changes coding and adaptations I think. So with VCDS, for instance, there is a possibility to fully enable only if there are label files. Many features on Audi's that are enabled from dealer using SVM,can also br enabled with SVM, like Drive Select, AHK Towbar, etc..as I have done on mine.

Vehicle is also parameterised as well as coded via SVM. FSC code is also added for the feature.

I agree, using SVM the function registers to car extra features and when connected to German Computer on dealers, that function will be enabled as default. That doesn't mean it can't be enabled using VCDS only, the only difference is that when car is connected on German computer on any dealer, when if an SVM coding compare is carried out, feature will be disabled and must code again using VCDS.

I have enabled Drive Select, Hill Descent control, Cruise Control, PDC etc, all factory functions, on my car without SVM coding.

But when go to dealer I don't let them do the SVM comparing
