Updating iLevel on NBT2
Hi
Yesterday I updated the iLevel on my F036 from 15-07-506 to the latest 18-03-524 using e-sys 3.27.1, an ICOM A2 clone and psdzdata from ISTA+ 4.10.30. Everything went through including the NBT2 though it didn't appear to do TTS when showing what it was doing on the head unit screen. The update is shown in attachment 1. As I wanted to check that the TTS one had gone through I did another TAL calculation and it appears that e-sys wants to update even further. See attachment 2. My concern is that it seems to want to go to V6 on the bootloader and SWFL files. Looking at this thread of downgrading ID6 posters are talking about V3 and V2. I don't at the moment want to go down the route of going to ID6 if that is what it wants to do here as the EVO is only HW 2.3 and b142 so probably won't support it without regular crashes and needing new FSCs and screen etc.. Could someone please reassure me that this update won't do that. |

RE: Updating iLevel on NBT2
V006 is id5/6 firmware. As you can see esys also wants to swap the unit. Did you use same FA as first calculation?

Looking at the TAL it seems to have every ECU as deinstall and an install on just the nbt2. I will try and do a new TAL this morning now the car has slept overnight. |
