3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Hey guys,
the last days I retrofitted a reverse camera to my 2014/03 F31. The TRSVC ECU is shown in ECU-tree, but it has no CAFD. I tried generating CAF to SWE, but it does not work: "KIS-Fehler: Die technische Einheit 00000468 konnte in der KIS-Wissensbasis nicht gefunden werden." The full failure-message is shown in the picture below. TRSVC ECU is a used part from 2011 F10. Can anybody help me how I get the TRSVC working in my car? I use E-Sys 3.27.1 with psdz-data Full v.62.4 |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Yesterday I tried with psdz 63.3 lite and it does not work with the same failure message. After that I downloaded the 62.4 full because I can not find a working link for 63.3 full. Do I really need the full psdz data?
I read that it could be a problem that the ecu is from a different car (in my case f10) and then esys could not find the cafd. |

It seems that the flashing process does not work because the FA is the wrong for the TRSVC ecu. Do I really need the original FA from the donor vehicle to flash the ecu? Regarding the missing swfl from my first post I searched the internet and found informations, that this swfl is included in psdzdata 47.4 or 47.5 and not in the newer versions. Do you think this is the right way to download these old psdzdata and try it again? |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Turn off update VCM and update MSM after TAL execution in Esys settings and try again

(First attachement is a screenshot of the settings, the second a screenshot ot the finished process.) But I don not really know what I have done now, because in the options I disabled the point for VCM update. Could you please help me what is the next step? |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
I don't understand what you mean "what is the next step"?
If the process finished then it has flashed the TRSVC or not ? As well as VCM you should have disabled MSM then setup the TAL and flash the TRSVC only. |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Sorry, but I am not a professional.
For my understanding E-Sys does not make a vcm update if I disable the point "vcm update after tal execution" in settings as you said is post #7. In the screenshot in my last post you can see the log. I can not see a vcm update there. Or am I wrong here? |
