RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Your problem originally was that Esys was trying to update VCM but because the VO from TRSVC did not match the car original VO it generates the error.
So to flash your TRSVC you must first disable VCM and MSM in Esys settings, once this is done make the new TAL caclulation then proceed to flash the TRSVC only, you should get no error and TRSVC will flash according to your car configuration and then be VO coded with the correct Cafd. |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Are there any problems with the update if my power supply is not sufficient? (Actually I have only a 20A power supply). Is it possible to do the flashing process with running engine?
Because if I do the steps you said in your post, the process finished after nearly 5 to 10 seconds. For my understanding there is no flashing process going on. (See the attached screenshots from settings and log) |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Do not try with engine running,
if only doing the TRSVC it should take around 2 mins, maybe less In the second image you must tick the boxes for the ecu you wish to flash ONLY use these blflash swdeploy cddeploy ibadeploy |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
Ok thanks. So for my understanding my settings and checkboxes are correct but the process still does not work. I try it again next weekend with a better power supply.
Does the flashing process not start due to less battery voltage? |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
No esys don’t check battery. Maybe will be for you easier to use ista/p or ista+. There should be the retrofit for 3AG option.

When I was not so familiar with esys, I did the 3AG retrofit with AOS Ista/P. Customer had made the installation with second hand TRSVC module which a bit worried me. I simply did the retrofit (and s/w update to the whole car) without any problems . I was prepared that Ista/P will complain about used module, but it didn't. |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
I have never used ISTA/P before and first need to download it. Because of my bad internet it takes a few days... And I do not have a ICOM interface, but a ENET interface. I read this could be complicated because I neet a emulator too. But I start the download now and hope for finish at weekend...
I want to find the problem why the flashing process in E-Sys does not work. I find out, that the file "svt_soll" does not contain the TRSVC. Is that correct? (see the attached screenshot) Another idea is the wrong i-step. The shipment i-step of my car is F020-14-03-502. But I think the i-step of the TRSVC is much older, but I do not know it. Is this a problem if I want to flash only the TRSVC? |

I think you problem is PsdZdaten install in pc is version "lite" around 2Gb (only for coding) and no "full" around 80/100Gb (for programming) |

RE: 3AG reverse camera retrofit coding problems
I use the full psdzdata v.62.4, this can not be the problem. The files have a download size of approximately 70GB. If I have the wrong files the "Software Check" before click the start-button should show a failure or not?
Could these following things from my post #17 be a problem? (04-04-2018, 19:59 PM)baumeister21 Wrote: I want to find the problem why the flashing process in E-Sys does not work. I find out, that the file "svt_soll" does not contain the TRSVC. Is that correct? (see the attached screenshot) |
