Cic high as far as i know is NBT, and does not have a combox, that is why he can use bmw live. But the pucture you posted does not look like NBT, but looks like CIC.

I think what have to be done is to cheat the BMW servers to believe that the cic with combox is a NBT unit, but i dont know how to do it, and i dont know if it could be done at all.

I believe the professional retrofitters would have tought of/tried this if it was possible.

I hate to say it, but i start to believe we are f***ed.

I currently dont have bmw apps, so im not sure, but when i have more time im gonna try retrofit it.

unfortunately i am experiencing the same issue as i have had a russian vin done for me by a friend and it still show the same thing bad request so i am not sure if they have shut down the bmw live or not !!
