Which tool to read/write EDC16CP39 on Peugeot 407 2.2 HDI
As per title, really. I am looking for a tool to read and write from/to ECU EDC16CP39 o my Peugeot 407 2.2 HDI via ODB port. I have an old Galletto 1260 that worked fine with the 406 (EDC15) but doubt it will work with this!
Would FGTech Galletto 4 be OK or would Kess be better? Thanks CJ |

Any particular version? There seems to be a few. I heard this ECU on this particular car was tricky to read but no real details.

The MPPS not worked with EDC16CP39. I use GALLETTO 4 V54 0475, write and read is OK.

Fgtech v54 works fine.
Just read. Be careful with eco mode. ECU dies if the car falls into eco mode. ( battery voltage drops under 12.1 V) BR |

I would suggest Ktag on the bench and do full backup first.
