BMW F48 LED Headlight - Voltage outside of tolerance range
I have problem with LED headlights in X1 F48.
I'm from Europe. The car is from the USA (Salvage). Headlights were slightly damaged but all modules were ok. I bought new headlights from Valeo, without modules. There are original headlights but without BMW markings. The new lamps differ from those removed from the car on one point. Oryginal have radiator, new Valeo have a fan heater. Theoretically, after shifting the modules to new headlights, everything should start without coding. Unfortunately, the headlights ignited, but after a while they went out. When I switched the car to the European type and coded FLE, the headlights work, but after a while the half LEDs go out and there is still a problem "FLE_L Low-beam headlight 2 Voltage outside of tolerance range, FLE_R Low-beam headlight 2 Voltage outside of tolerance range etc". Has anyone had such a problem? |

RE: BMW F48 LED Headlight - Voltage outside of tolerance range
Would that not mean the replacement lights have higher or lower resistance? Not sure but there has to be a coding option to either stop FRM checking resistance or alter the acceptable resistance/voltage for the headlights. Will have a look.

Is the wiring damaged to the headlights?

Uhm
In my F10 I tried one experiment, when I retrofit factory LED Headlight,I Used one 12V from Rear Junction Box for two modules, same fault, immediately abandoned BMW F10 530d 0911

I know it can be fixed with coding, but a person who can do it don't want tell my how to do it.

RE: BMW F48 LED Headlight - Voltage outside of tolerance range
go to current data and check the lights modules both voltage to know the volt go down or up+
i dont advice you to remove lights check with coding coz that will remove short production |

okay, thanks.
What do you think will cause a problem? I just switched modules from the old headlamp to the new one, so I though it will be working like a charm. Thanks Thanks
