Help with Ista/icom error
Hello guys,
I hope everyone is okay. I have the same problem with two installation version standalone, I'm facing an error on Ista + and on Ista P as well, Am I missing any reg files to make work on ista +, how can I solve the issue? I have the programming files inside rheingold PSDZ. The car is 2016 328i F30. There is a youtube link from someone else that faced the same issue on both Ista's. https://youtu.be/ReGYPY7MW_A Please find attached the photo of Ista + error. Thanks. |

RE: Help with Ista/icom error
I had this problem. What Icom are you using? Must be a clone. Firmware updated to 3.15?
I gave up on the Icom next clone and went back to the old clone A+B+C icom and it works. See the two below. Black does not work, yellow does |

[/quote] I tried in two icom unit one I update to the latest 141 which is clone icom a2, and tried on icom next with 137 firmware both have the same problem, at this point I don't think is the software because I did try on two different software version . Thank you for sharing your thoughts. (07-04-2018, 09:10 AM)willisodhiambo Wrote: I had this problem. What Icom are you using? Must be a clone. Firmware updated to 3.15? I think the issue is on the icom units, a2 I have update to the 141 custom firmware to see if would work but still the same and icom next clone still has 137 I believe, tried in two different standalone software version no luck, both icoms are clone. Thank You |

RE: Help with Ista/icom error
unsure what is really going on with your install , you have all programming data file ? , I noticed in multipli installs with edbias you still need 7.3 installed original folder I rename when doing inpa and other stuff in back when ista programming a router make it go faster I bricked a head unit w/o router . sometimes obd port loose on car will cause odd stuff to happen make sure you using matching firmware w ista , in keep ista update suck I know but that's the game last ista/p before istap no more f cars 3.63.5 , 3.64.0.600 only e cars some ibac programming still works but I have not test many

I had similiar issue and tried multiple different standalone version, but noone of them worked. As I said it turned out to be issue with the windows. I knew my ICOM worked, because I had used it to program cars before. |

RE: Help with Ista/icom error
Gentlemen, it's 100% corrupt icom
line ethernet damage reads only DCAN check ESYS with the (Itoolradar ICOM reserve ) port Connection via Ethernet tcp://169.254.92.38:50160 if you connect, you will read the FA and SVT is ok the Ethernet port works, as it's not just DCAN identification I already saw so much clone has it all K-line MOST DCAN and there is no Ethernet And to the author of the F programming film, the G series uses a minimum 80A power supply 14.8V voltage (admissible is 13.8V - 14V) If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button!

RE: Help with Ista/icom error
Ok guys, Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Here is the resolution on these icoms, they are both corrupted. I was able to get another icom from a friend to test everything works perfect on my both laptops which means the sw installation isn't the problem. I had a friend helping me on TV and we both saw the icom had Static IP set inside the firmware panel we tried to change to DCHP but it didn't change. I come to an end there is nothing I can do to fix these issue, probably components or pinout wrong for F series. DNK76 - I think you are right about that because I could use enet cable with the same laptops didn't face any issue on Ista P, as we know ista + with enet at the moment doesn't support programming. Please feel free to post if anyone know how to fix there issues probably by changing some components. Thank You All. |
