I tested if both West and East work together and everything works perfect now.

Hi all,

I present working activator for MMI 3G Basic West and East Europe 5.26.2.

Install BNav_EU_K0260_1_D1 software first, then update maps and activate with the activator in this post.

Important! For the people that activated earlier with the script, first downgrade to 2017 or lower. Then reinstall 2018.

I can confirm that this FSC works. I followed this instruction:

Start the car and:

1. Remove any DVD or SD card(s) from the unit
2. Copy folder FSC and metainfo2.txt to SD card
3. Insert SD card into slot 1
4. Press RADIO, then for 5 seconds hold SETUP + RETURN to get into secret menu
5. Choose UPDATE (bottom right corner) and choose SD1 as the source
6. Follow the instructions on screen, confirming update..
7. When the system asks you if you want "standard" or "user defined" chose STANDARD!
8. Move all the way down to the bottom of the device selection menu list with various attributes and select "Start download"
9. FSC update starts and the system will reboots 2 times during the update. Do not interrupt the update or turn off the car!!
10. When the update is finished "Device summary screen" appears, move down and select "Continue" than "Abort documentation"
11. Remove SD card, activation is finished at this point.
12. Insert DVD or SD card with a map update and enjoy.

FSC update procedure takes about 2-3 min.

Arghhhh....
Can some one please provide a link to the DVD's. I downloaded DVD 1 a while ago, but I need DVD 2.

It seems that the link AudiA4 provided are just a picture now.

I am going to Italy on monday, so a quick link would be much appriciated.

Should the system be updated with the 2018 MMI 3G Basic DVD (East or West)
before applying the FSC script?
Or does this make no difference?

I updated the map after applying the FSC script. I do not know if it works the other way around.

Hi all,

I got the remark from someone that the FsC is not working ok. Although the MMI says FsC OK in engineering menu, it still switches to "Navigation data is blocked".

Has someone experienced this? Please reply.

I think its strange because I tested it on a 3G Basic unit and left it on for atleast 30mins and it didnt get blocked and could also switch from West to East.

It worked well also in my case. Updated to K0260, than activated with your FSC script.. All ok, no problems.

@Janch, What kind of car (type/year) do you have and from which map version did you update?
Did you install East or West?

And you are 100% sure the navigation stays unblocked? I mean, you actually used the navigation to drive somewhere and the journey lasted more than 5 minutes?

I am suspecting it has something to do with previous version installed.

Audi A4 2009. Before the update car didn't have navigation DVD or SD. Firmware version was P0054 if I remember correctly. After the fw update to K0260 I have activated with your FW and drive about 5 km and navigation worked OK. Car was later returned with no complaints so far.
