Hi. It works, but you will not see any information about it when using the script.

I used it and I was sure it did not work, but after restarting the navigation the message "navigation is blocked" was displayed

the problem is, how the activator works. this is not problem of user bass j's script. this is problem how the hacktivation is actually done with killing vdev-logvolmgr because there is no true FSC File available to activate normally. Unit does not know anymore what Map Version is installed after killing vdev-logvolmgr. On Units with Hard Disc (e.g. 3G High / 3G Plus) it is working well. But on 3G Basic with changable 2 DVD's/SD's it is not!

you have to remove the hacked activation to get normal system. and then insert west or east maps. then update is possible! after that apply again the hacked activation (e. g. bass j's script) - maybe later i will do another script for activation/deactivation everytime you put it in, but now have no time, so use this one:

when you want to remove hacktivation i made a script. Be careful! use Script only on *3G Basic* Units. When using on 3G High or 3G Plus Media Menu is not working anymore.

1. apply script to sd card
2. wait till mmi is up for some time like 2-3 mins.
3. insert sd card with script
4. now sd card script is bringing unit in normal condition, removing complete files of hacktivation
5. after script finished - remove SD Card and reboot mmi with 3 buttons solution
6. now your map is not activated anymore, but you can apply other map like west or east. after install get a sd card script for apply the hacktivation you got from the map source (e. g. bass j's script) and apply it. After reboot you now can use the other map and mmi activated again.

Is it neccesary to do this deactivation/activation with your script every time when maps are switched?

Hi I really need your help!

I was successful in updating a couple of weeks ago my MMI 3G High to HNav_US_K0133_3_D1 and today i decided to update the Maps to 6.16.2 US 8R0060884EN which took 2hours but it was successful.

Unfortunately the activator provided did not work "Error FSC file not found" I think this one was for 3GP instead of 3GHigh. Right now i'm getting Navigation blocked.

Could you please help me find an activator for US Maps 6.16.2. I am willing to donate.

You are in wrong topic, this is 3G basic (Bnav) not 3g high or 3g+

Here are some news about script for removing FSC activator for 2018 maps. So, MMI i was updating earlier (with SD card) couldn't read SD card with 2018 maps (east or west), there was message "No update device found" or "New nav database 2018 found" but didn't want to update. I tryed to various SD cards but nothing helped. At the end of this calvary tryed to remove "FSC activator by Baas J." but the script didnt worked even I rebooted MMI like @Kris07081984 said before. So I've inserted SD card with maps 2017 and voila all is working without activating again. Thats why I concluded that removing 2018 FSC with script didnt work. Cheers!

only reading your posts, i've updated my maps and firmware.

3G BASIC on a A4 B8 car.
firm 257 -> K0260
map 2014 -> 2018
map patch

it seems to be OK after different reboot.

is there a mean to find a script to activate Green Menu ? I'm interested in some options in it.
