I read that when improving in Golf 5 from RCD300 to RCD310 (1K0035186AN) Gateway should be changed (PN from some leter up). Thease RCD310 has same chassis number 1k0 as RCD300, so I wonder should Gateway been changed even in this case?

I bought CH341A programmer and read dump. I get code from calculator for mp3 rcd300 but for this last one I did not. Can someone read code, or give help identify calculator which can.

Now when I read calcGEN by I.S.A gives correct code. It is 0894

I want install RCD310 in:

Golf
1K0 907 530 K - gateway
H04 0020

it seems software version 20

and my Passat have
3C0 907 530 C - gateway
007 0040

I read here K with SW 021 is not compatible (my020), and also
all part numbers NOT listed here can be considered compatible.

So I need help
1. Compatible with Golf 5?
2. How check is it draining battery? Possible with VCDS?
3. What about Passat? I read somewhere that it is possible to install on this old gateway, but need to change something, not sure?

In both Gateways radio is selected ANALOG. Good?

Today I install these 1K0035186AN in Golf 2007 and Passat 2005.

Golf have
1K0 907 530 K - gateway - not compatible with RCD310
H04 0020

and Passat have
3C0 907 530 C - gateway - not compatible with RCD310
007 0040

and I did measurement of current flow with radio and without.
Firstly on Golf I measure on radio fuse, but after that I remember that gateway drain battery so I measure whole car and get results that neither Golf and Passat will have drain issues. Passat locked shows 0,06 because it does not turn off cluster with opened hood. So, how is this possible? Radio model starts with 1K0 or radio coded in both analog?
