Hey,

I am curently retrofiting a NBT EVO ID5 in my f10 from 2012.
We have flashed the Zgw to zgw2
Installed the evo Atm Emulator.
Nbt fires up....it needs coding and Vo coding.

But my problem is:

I canot see the NBT in the SVT three of Esys. Nothing comes up.fail
With Dr. Gini i can read the FSC and activate them if i want.
With ISta+ i can also see the unit in the Controle Moudules.

Now....i remmeber that the first 2 3 times just after connecting the unit i came up....i did some fdl coding that i can have an immage on screen, had no signal.
Also coded to ID6 lite.

After left the car to sleep and the connection was gone.....sad
Now no mather what i do in esys i can't see the nbt so i can VO code it.....


HOW can this be happening ?

When you are in Esys do you use Read SVT or Read ECU button ?
It seems that the NBT2 is not in your SVT Actual

Did you wire ENET to OABR? If yes, use direct OBD-ENET cable and ping to 169.254.199.99 to see if ethernet is okay.

Hey
In esys i try both SVT and ECU but nothing happens any more.
I did not get around to wire the Oabr to the units Ethernet.

I am looking for a clean retrofit, Not really a fan of Oabr to Rj45 and so on....
The thing i cant understand is why did the NBW can in the Ecu list a few times and now nothing anymore....
Going crazy here :P lol

You need OABR otherwise won't work. ISTA is seeing the EVO over canbus but for coding you do need the OABR connection... Sometimes you are lucky and be able to code over canbus but most times won't work over canbus.

Well you can get it clean. Ethernet should already be in quadlock just need rewire and done.

Is i will rewire ethernet from Quadlock to oabr tomorow and see how that turns out.

Of course not...
This is an F10, not a E60
Ethernet has nothing to do with coding and ECU not showing up in E-SYS
100% EVO can be coded over CAN Bus, all the time in F series, without ethernet

Coding would be possible through can BUT, why can't my esys find the unit in the control unit tree ?
