F10 deleting pedestrian protection
hi all i have an f10....last week i crashed the front end and the pedestrian protection got activated....now i cleared 8TF from VO and recoded the car .....unhooked the 4 connectors from bonnet ....and the sensor stripe from underneath the front bumper ...
my problem is that i can't clear the error even after all this work ... now gives plausible error ..... were am i mistaken ..thanks |

There are two sensors that you have to unplug under the bumper. |

i unplugged the connector on the side of the sensor stripe ......is there another one ?

i've unplugged the 4 connectors on the bonnet and the one on the sensor stripe .....behind wich headlight is the other one ?
is there any fdl coding needed on acsm or simply coding after vo change (as i did ) |

You have to:
1. Unplug 4 plugs from pyrotechnic under the bonnet (two in the front where bonnet locks are and two in the back where the hangs are) 2. Unplug Optic stripe (from the left side (LHD spec, passanger side) of the car behind bumper) 3. Unplug FGN sensor it is between "kidneys" if you have M-Paket bumper (access from top if you unscrew few bolts off the bumper), but if you have normal bumper it is a little bit lower, you can access it from bottom when you remove lower grill/trim. 4. Remove 8TF from FA, and CODE ACSM with Esys. 5. Remove all errors via ISTA+ 6. Click help and reputation button here 7. The End |
