Renault Clio ECU swap
Hi everyone

With me here is a renault Clio 2 with Continental 3132 ECU. The customers confirmed that someone tried to do immo off, now the car is completely dead, no crank, immo light not flashing (completely off) and no communication with diagnostic machines (Maxidas 908 and OBDSTAR), I opened the ECU, there is no visible physical damage. Have also checked fuses they are all clean and have concluded the précis Mechanic corrupted the flash data. Now want to put a new used Ecu, same part number but not sure how to match it with the UCH. I know I can immo off this box but wanted to try the standard thing first. Please help with ideas, how to adapt this new Ecu.

You will need Clip...from memory not done one in a while. Get hold of the programming files and re-write .ori to the ecu again. Will need to program keys after though.
Are you sure you are getting +12v AT the ecu.....how about the earth?
A bad flash wouldn't render the ecu completely dead...it would still receive power .
You don't know what your customer has done to the vehicle before it got to you, in my experience you only ever get told half of the story!

I tried to check the supplies, I’m getting a number of 12V inputs although I didn’t have the ECU Pin out, my Autodata doesn’t give any wiring diagrams on this one. I guess I have to get the wiring diagram and go back to the wires.

RE: Renault Clio ECU swap
Hello, I think you need to reflash the ecu, if a bad file or load was uploaded the ecu will not energize

You can also test on bench to discard one problem in vehicle
