Hi,

I recently bought a 6WA cluster which I am trying to retrofit to my F30. I have followed the guides to erase the VIN but am getting a verify error when I do this.

The instructions I have are to replace:

70 0F with FF
80 00 to 80 0F with FF
590 0E to 590 0F with FF
5A0 00 to 5A0 04 with FF

When I save Bin and write to car I get a verify error for 70 0F and also for 590 0E and 590 0F.

When I try coding just short VIN it looks like it succeeded but when I read old value is still there.

Is anyone able to have a look at the bin and help me code short VIN F420866?

I got it sorted in the end thanks.

It turns out the R270 programmer is not able to write to the newer chips 35060WT. I had to buy a cluster with older WQ chip and it worked no problem with the above.
