I have install IStaD standalone 4.10.41 and used last database 4.11.21
but have this problem, it does not allow me to select any vehicle, even inserting the vin does not find anything

It looks like your SQlites are not installed, or are blocked.

hi there... can anybody tell me the difference between the standalone version and ista+? the standalone works fine with 30gb but ista+ needs 130gb,if you only need diagnosis.. Can anybody tell me please ?

There are no differences the only difference is that Standalone comes without the BLP and SDP extracted into the PSZD Database making it 2.5gb and then 35gb when you extract the SQ databases.

Once you do extract the 2 other files then it's 100% the same as the install your doing via the ISTA launcher these extra files are around 138gb If I remember the size correct and are for the F series BMW's and hold some data files about them,

If you ever scan an F series car and get the incomplete database message once it's scanned then you know you are missing the BLP and SDP files from your database.

so blp and sdp is necessary for reading out f series? sorry for noob questions

Nope I've used ISTA + many times without extracting the BPL or SDP files into ISTA+ and used F10 F20's and F30's on it, It always will show an error about ISTA + having an incompleted setup or installation, But I've always been able to carry out work and delete fault codes on any cars,

The E series doesn't complain at all when not extracting the files so,

The BPL and SDP are for coding F series car via ISTA + and to execute measures plans, for example, updating the I-Level integration number etc as BMW are moving the F-G away from ISTA-P so you will be using ISTA + in the future to code cars etc.

I have also strange error. It does not see database. It runs with error about database missing. But update by Launcher was successful.
Please advise ...

did u sort out the problem?
