for use with sdconnect,
if you don't install sdnc toolkit in the xp mode vm, with slave=partt2, hht will freeze quite a long time before it is run.
if you install sdnc toolkit, hht is run almost instantly.
for slave=partd2, without sdnc toolkit, hht is run well.

i have tested the hhtnfz with partd2,
added the slave=partd2 in hhtwin.ini,
with and without sdnc, there is no different.
hht is respond instantly in 'standalone mode called from host' or 'called from das automatically'.

setting com1 in vm directly to com2 in the host but still stumble with 'comport is in use'.

this time i only install hht in C drive but
next plan:
1. i will import 'whole xentry xp system' to vm
2. try in win 7 x32 (with/without any xdos) to test it is work or not (optional)
3. try in win 7 x64 (with/without any xdos)
i am sure, it is just a matter of setting the vm.

stupid plan? maybe. but i just a guy that want to play with my idle time.
keep fiddling with it mate. it is fun, isn't it?

Edit:

with latest xdos x64, the sdtoolkit in the host is switch off while hht runs, and then turn on again after hht is close.

probably, stupid plan again, i have to test calling "hht standalone in xp vm" from the host x64 but the host is without any mercedes software.
i ever read that someone use hht only without any xentry system. he asks me the hht command line parameter.
and he gave feedbacks that it is okay.

i find the relevant thread but in other forum.

what do you think?

Update:
Today, i test hhtnfz with partD2 (C3):
- i use xentry xp hht folder copy to partition C in xp vm
(setting: com2 directly to physical com 2, other: default)
- added slave=partD2 in hhtwin.ini
- for partD2, with and without sdnc toolkit in vm, no different. HHT works perfect.
- host is xdos win7 64bit 2017 (no privilege, only have this image in win x64 + add patch for C3)

Result:
1. Calling HHT Standalone from host win7 64bit, all diagnose works perfect. The lock and release of com port between host and vm is very smooth and fast. Calling HHT again after closing (hibernate) almost in a blink. Done. Proven.

2. Calling HHT from xentry/das, have to do a taskkill process, than diagnose (HHT or DAS) works. There must a better way.

edit ToolkitLanguage=de to ToolkitLanguage=en
cmiiw,there are two lines in the toolkit.ini regarding this.
