it is indeed in vm but not "windows vm" but "oracle vm".
just like i said in the first post,
"When configured correctly, with fast computer, the end-user will never know that they are running the application in an virtual environment."

we should use the vm from oracle in order to make it work like in xk3.

if I install windows 10 + xentry 07.2018 on the laptop, will I need to add an additional virtual machine for hht? Or will it all come together with xentry?

yes, you need vm because hht is old program and no, it is not included in the regular xdos bluray installation.

I'm just looking for ways and experimenting. Now I have a problem with the SD toolkit. If I use a LAN, then there is no problem, the multiplexer works in both DAS and hht, but if I turn on the virtual machine and start hht, then the wireless settings disappear and I have to reconfigure the multiplexer for wireless communication. A password is deleted from the wireless.

I get hhy to launch on vm, but it wont detect my sd4. Sd4 can be seen in vm via sdconnect. Ideas?

I set all as you describe in your steps from first post, but I always get the error message "Internal fault diagnosis multiplexer Error code 10003"

didn't work for me, all installed fine SDNC can see C4 but HHT cant... can ping C4 fine from XP mode
