Opel Navi900 dead after update
Hello,
tried to update a Navi900 today with an sdcard. He asked for the firmware to be updated. Pressed yes. After that the screen went blank and stayed like this. Parking sensors are not working also anymore. I presume that the firmware update not went well? What can I do about it? Can i manually load the firmware or does it have to go to the shop? |

I know this is threat is from last month....
In this case first keep cool an wait about 20 minutes... The Update needs some Time, but the Display should not be black! After Update the Radio perform a restart... When nothing happens... Then turn Ignition off wait 5 Minutes and Turn on again. If nothing helps, take negative from your Batterie off, wait 5 minutes and then look if Radio Start. When Radio Starts, load Firmware again, and put it on Stick look that the Folder named correct!! |

Ok thats bad,
in some cases you can use a Update CD as Recovery, burn the Update Image with IMGBurn to a CD-R when Screen even stay black, you can only go to your dealer, or buy a new Headunit maybe Android replacement... |

Unfortunately, it's like he doesn't get any power anymore. So won't take cd's either.
It's like the software on the unit is completely erased. Is it possible to manually load the software with opel programs? |

maybe,
but when its like u said, the radio has no power then you cant flash anything with the gm MDI |
