RE: [VMWare] Ford IDS 107.02 & Mazda IDS 107.00
I think I asked this before. So all these IDS are not actually connected to Ford itself? Cause newer models you cannot flash. It shows error. Does that mean that it only flashes some cars because the files are already in the cracked software? The paid version can do AS BUILT by communicating to FORD servers, grabbing the AS BUILT data and download it to IDS which will then add it to the module you're trying to flash. I'm just wondering since that means that all these IDS programs are useless when it comes to newer models or flashing up to certain years since they don't have the calibrations pre-installed. Again, not knocking the free IDS because it works great on older models, but I have tried flashing 2010 cars and it errors out. Thought that updating IDS on these cracked versions meant you had access to everything like the original IDS. Curious is all. biggrin

No connection to Ford's servers. That would require an account.

It's not entirely limited. Newer versions means you can connect/diagnose newer vehicles. You are correct in that the calibration files are stuck on whichever was the last version Ford included with IDS (V86?) even though you have a "newer" IDS version. Everything is online now, even diagnostics will probably be going that route with FJDS/FDRS.

Thank you as always. Since now I know it can only do older model flashing, I won't have to waste time trying and just purchase a subscription when I need it. Anti-theft is important, so at least it can do that for free since the versions are up to date and it doesn't need an account for that(of course I know newer models require locksmith license and connection or purchase those aftermarket tools that can do keys without needing a locksmith license etc.) biggrin
