What's the meaning of this?
So you say there are other sw tools/hw interfaces that do the same of OPCOM and are (possibly) free?

Because Mr. smart thinks he know everything. Hate looking down nose at others.
It's obvious people who clam using original interface with original software has nothing to do with helping the others using fake interface, however you call it high quality clone. Unless they are hunting costumers for things that they say they don't use!

@samtimber IMO you don't need to copy a copy! If you own even V6 china clone you can mod it to V5 and use it with cooked softwares available in this forum or net without problem. However if you already own V5 with programmable pic you are one step ahead. If you are a home user that stage meets your need, even immobilizer and odo. If you are professional user or going to start at that stage and really want full coverage of functionalities forget the rest and go for original Interface. By this way save your time, support original developer and save your head from black market hunters. Finally if your are an electronics major and coder the same time and want some experiments that's fine, again don't copy a copy start from ground zero and built your own.
