Hi,

are there any news, how to update the RNS 310 from 0235 to 0357 or 0358?

My RNS had the firmeware 0235 on it, so I make an update to 0351 with one moddified CD (KD01) and the normal 0351.

By updating with the CD 0357 it makes a downgrade to 0235 again.
By updating with the CD 0358 it makes a downgrade to 0236.

I tried to moddify these CD's while deleting the 0235/ 0236 part.
I also tried to moddify them while replacing the 0235/ 0236 part trough 0357/0358 files.
With these moddified CD's the firmware update gets installed but after installing the firmware the display shows "Software update needed, please insert download data carrier"
I think there are wrong checksums that make the update fail.
Maybe the RNS block the update while checking the checksum?

After that I had to install the KD01 and 0351 again to came on 0351.

My RNS 310 had some bugs with audio settings. For example by pressing the mute button twice the soundlevel is on "5" no matter what soundlevel adjust before. So I want to get on a new firmware.

My question: Are there any news how to get a newer firmware as 0351 on RNS 310 if there was 0235 on it?

Is somebody here who can modify the CD to make that possible?
If someone need the CD (0357 or better 0358) then contact me.
