Hi fellas,

I had different times an error message of Checksum Error after reading ECU. I could save the file without problem.
Tried it several times, also the same with my 2nd backup tool.
hen I tried to flash thr modefied file, at th moment that I choose the file the message appears again.
No succes, tried with 2 laptop, one W7 one W10, 2 tools of Kess, several cables. Nothing changed.

After I had to do another car, succes without any problem!!! 

someone said it could be because using ksuite 2.47, ksuite 2.33 would work better...??

But if you have fgtech you can read it,it looks like mismatch checksum in ecu and kess,that is normal problem,read in bdm solution

This will apear usualy on bmw-s when you chose edc17cp02 or 06 and car have other edc17 mounted let say edc17cp41 ..you can read the file but at end will say crc error and you get none corect file..at least my experiance with kess

Was indeed on a BMW, but a Med9.2, from an E46 
Here the files, I couldn't take self a look at them, probl ecm.

This file realy have bad crc and been modifyed maybe before..softwere no. not corect also..try read with other tool and compare or find original file for that car..

hello, I had a similar problem but when writing, look for the new dll KSUITE CHECKSUM DLL UNPACKED COLLAGEN SWAG2000

I had this problem on EDC15 ecus with kess, at the end always says CS wrong or failure but when i edit the file and correct CS like it was before on the file i readed from the ecu with kess, there was no Problem when flashing the new file ! So you have a bigger problem ...
