01 Sebring diagnostics
Need some help for the gurus here, I have a 01 Sebring convertible that we restored with a engine overhaul and some other work. Replaced the key lock because it did not come with a key. The key came from a next Sebring. It started the car for the usual 2 seconds (security) . Using a maxidas 708 ,I tried to program the key to the car, it reads the car as a Mitsubishi system
so I changed the adapter to suit but it fails to read any of the control units .Also tried a Snap on scanner same results . Just interested in any inputs from the community on resolving this issue |

RE: 01 Sebring diagnostics
You maxidas has a chrysler adapter. did u use it? sebring convertibles can be difficult to diag. Do you have a ccd bus problem. I would start by checking to make sure there is communication. let me know.
