I don’t know about latest firmware from 03-19, but in 07 and 11-19, the problem persist, it seams that it realy is a problem in software regarding NBT screens, and I started to think that it was introduced consciously. And I saw it only on 2 GB units with ID5/6

I have the same problem
 Sometimes my screen displays a black screen. after a few seconds the display reappears. I still have the radio etc so I think it's the screen that bug. I have a retrofit HU_ENTRY -> HU_NBT2 (F20) I will read the error codes tomorrow. Some one have more information ? |

Already been said in a few threads not to update Evo to newer than 03.2018 istep if you use an original NBT (And not Evo) screen.
Keep voltage regulator to 8 0v |

A sorry I did not pay attention that the answer was given previously.
I'm going to see to buy a NBT EVO screen directly because I need a recent I-step version to have Apple carplay fullscreen  Just a quick note, I noticed that the screen turns off only when the sun hits directly on the dashboard, after 15, 20 minutes the screen starts to turn off and on. At night for example I have no worries I can drive 2 hours without any worries of screen. |

I replaced my APIX1 screen to an APIX2 and I have had no issues since last year. This is a firmware issue by the looks of it.
My HU is not using an emulator. |

Rename the file from .txt to .torrent . download only SDP file. It should be 03.2018
Working EVO with NBT displays , and carplay full screen also. |
