NBT EVO display (No Signal)
Hey everyone, I'm currently in the process of retrofitting an NBT Evo in my F56. I plugged in the NBT Evo to the touch display but I get no signal, is there anything I'm missing, such as coding? Any help will be appreciated!

I will have to figure out what coding, because I am using an emulator so that shouldn't be the issue from what I know, and both the unit and the monitor are APIX2. |

In my HU I used esys and went into it and there was a category called 3005 Display_pip_config, 96 (could be different in yours) Inside of that category you can find CID_APIX_MODE, CID_COLOR DEPTH, CID_COM_MODE,CID_DISPLAY RES, AND CID_DISPLAY_SIZE I believe for using APIX 1 you should have obviously APIX 1 for the first one, 18 for the second one, SPI for the 3rd, 1280_480 for 4th, and 8,8 for 5th. Other than that I believe you just need a voltage regulator due to different voltage standards for APIX1 and 2. |

There is nothing to FDL code Say your HU EVO runs ID5/6 natively and you use an older APIX1 screen and you fit to a 2014 F30, simply VIN VO code the radio using the original build date After you install a voltage converter on the CID cable of course like explained in many threads already. Your screen will work right away Simply change HMI FDL settings to ID5/6 after that because it will show ID4 when coding it with 2012 or 2014 date. |
