Sorry for the late replay, maybe you are one of the members that have PM disabled, so is not possible
to get (receive) any PM with the password.

I have already advise other member about this, also i change the first post and add a notification for the ones
that have the PM disabled.


Other reasons people don´t get password is if they forget to press tanks or reputation, 
sometimes they forget, other times they are new and don´t know it.

But i give password to everyone, as long as they follow the instructions on first post,
one thing is that many don´t take 2 minutes to read and accomplish. 

On your case Zalen, try again, if i try to replay and get the error you have PM disabled,
i will come here and will notify you.

I do this on free time, and also it is free for you and for everyone, there is no time limite,
i do replay, IF and WHEN i have time, it may take 24h or 1 week.

So please, give at least 1 week, if after that there is no replay, than you can try
 ask here on the thread to check if something is wrong.

Next month i will be out, so the delay will be bigger, for sure i will come here
time to time to send passwords, but not every day.

I tested at my desk the solution and yes I can use my genuine VAS5054A in Win 7 Ultimate 64bit system.
I will make tests in cars using Mercedes XDOS Passtrhru soon.

Hello Zalen.

From your picture is not possible to see what file can´t be read, but a file that
can not be read indicate a different type of problem.

Try to run it as Admin or compatibility mode, or try to put all files inside a folder on desktop, 
than run it from that location, you can also try to decompress the files again
but using WinRar-5.

Sometimes Anti-Virus interpret some files as virus or as danger, other times is
the operation system that have issues,, you can try with your AV disabled,
but i advise you to run again inside a virtual machine for testing,, 
or try to get more details about that file that can not be read.

I have made a VMware machine with Windows 10 Pro, than i install the drivers,
and the interface is recognized on ForScan as a PassThru interface and is working.

Maybe your problem is extraction the files not the install.

Hello.

After making the VAS5054 working with ForScan on Win10 64bit , i decide to install ODIS 5.0.3, 
and it was not easy, several attempts, some mistakes, and at the end it finally
open with no mistakes or warnings.

As many of you know there is no support for Vas5054 (under 64bit), so ODIS
only give options for Vas6054, WIFI, etc and PassThru, so the last one was used.

I did not test it on a real car, but i have the interface power up and
was able to confirm the blinking led every time i try to diagnose.




This way you can use 64bit Windows (Win 7 is the best) to install ODIS,
and still be able to use your old and "fantastic" Vas5054 interface as PassThru.

Remember, i made this just for testing the drivers, i don´t advise using Win10 64bit
for ODIS, it may not work correct, and maybe it will not install on first try because
with me it give many error during installation.

The OS was not updated, i just install win10 and never connect it to the internet.
