Mini Cuntryman R60 - LED FOG lights coding problem
Mini Coutryman R60 from 2016y.
I tried to code retrofitted LED FOG lights using ISTA-P but without success. In ISTA-P is option "Retrofit LED FOG lights". After making plan there is an error by FRM before flashing and coding. En error begin "Global..." I don't remember rest of it. I have ISTA-P 3.64 |

does it ask for a hardware change?
maybe firmware change not possible on current FRM? |

RE: Mini Cuntryman R60 - LED FOG lights coding problem
I'd rather not use ISTA-P for retrofit coding..
It also programs all other modules in the car according to the measures plan. This creates a lot more risk then it should be. Coding with NCS is much more safer from that perspective. Add the option code to the FA, FA write to all modules that store the FA and finally VO code the FRM module. job done, grab a beer If you're getting an error with NCS too, post it here. It's much simpler for many of us to troubleshoot NCS then it is to troubleshoot an ISTA-P error. If my post was helpful to you please give me a thanks and/or reputation

Besides - You don't need to program all modules - You can HIDE other modules in measures plan |
