160d0wt reading and erasing
Hi,
i got my hands on new F20 6WA cluster, unfortunatly there is a 160d0wt on pcb. Now my problems are: 1. Everytime i read this eeprom i get different dumps. Just a few bits differ (i tryed 3 different eeprom reader). Does anyone know this problem? Is it normal? Or is this eeprom broken? 2. Is there any reader out there to delete mileage? I can write this eeprom, so i can delete vin but i can't erase mileage. Thanks a lot |

Hello!
Erasing of the odometer from a 160WT eeprom is at the moment only possible with an emulator-chip for the chip-id. There's no reader on the market which can erase the odometer (not possible with R270, Diagprog MK2 USB, Orange5, Enigma, Diagprog4, Smok). CU Oliver |

hm okay that's what i was afraid of.
I tried R270 Upa and M35160 Eraser Can you tell me something about my problems while eeprom reading? Is that normal? |

160d0WT is possible with DiagProg4 or with this tool http://www.dashcoder.com/wp-content/uplo...Eraser.jpg Try to desolder Chip from PCB and read again |
