OK, I, myself finally updated today - no issues with the installation and navigation seems to work just fine. So, previous posters with problems should check the archive hash digest, reformat the stick (FAT32) and make sure they unpack with a recent version of an archiver.

I also updated the 1st post with a screenshot for reference.

are you sure about FAT32 ? as im pretty sure they wont take a 17+gb file
as NTFS will ?

You don't just copy the archive, the individual files are much smaller after extraction. I don't think CIC supports NTFS.

My current map is "Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2011" and I wanna upgrade to 2018-2, but i see that the newer versions are divided into WEST and EAST. Can I use both at the same time or do I have to choose one of them?

You have to switch back and forth every time.
