I transferred that chip and it only changes the ICC-ID.

Where is IMEI stored?

RE: Embedded SIM swap from TCB to ATM
The smaller printed circuit board inside the TCB with all the Qualcomm chips is what holds the IMEI. Got that transferred successfully over to my replacement TCB and BMW Remote services work now. I can't confirm what made it work in the first place.

Are you saying you needed to swap more than just the chip shown in the pictures to get it all working? Were you going from TCB to ATM. I’m about to do this myself.

I don't know much, but if I've helped you're welcome.

I went from damaged original TCB to used replacement TCB. Same idea, except that the ATM connectivity is 4g.
I have working Remote Services now.

For remote services to work, you must have the ICC ID (SIM ID) and IMEI matching to what BMW has on their servers for your car.

eSIM transfer is not enough. The IMEI will be different since IMEI is communication equipment ID, from the ATM module.

Can you send a picture of the other components that I need to transfer over please? That’s really great information, thank you.

I just opened the ATM and found a raised printed circuit board under a metal shield with all the Qualcomm chips on. Did you transfer the whole raised PCB or just the Qualcomm chips? I’m guessing the whole PCB?

I don't know much, but if I've helped you're welcome.

Is there any way to program THE NEW ICCID and IMEI to BMW's server through ISTA after installing ATM

Hi, did you manage to get it working? Which other chips did you move?

Just follow mcrussell's post #17. That is the chip to be removed from the TCB and install it on the ATM.
