RE: Combox E9x faulty flash. Want to write dump
I still have two faulty Combox here, I can access them somehow, but there´s no way to flash them, while they´re still in the car. So it would be interesting is there a wiring diagram, or how to flash GL512 (?) on table, if its even possible

If you can access to modul then do reflow and try to program . Otherwise GL512 is BGA chip so you need programmer for them.

I didn't have time to investigate further. What programmer can be used  for flashing?
I'll can write a manual if someone can help me out with this.

BeeProg , UP-818 and much other supports bga chips.

First of all you have to find out what is the exact type of the chip.
Spansion was former AMD or Fujitsu, from Spansion it changed to Cypress now.

The type of programming depends on chip itself, therefore take a look at the label, than search the datasheet of the chip. Inside of the most datsasheets (there are some exeptions for automotive security chips) you will find the way how you have to talk with the chip that he accepts the programming mode for new data or a possible readout of data.

Modern BGA will be programmed most ot the time via SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) sometimes even with Multi I/O for a faster data transfer.

After you found the datasheet and understand the way of talking to the chip go to the developers site and have a look at their programmers. Often other programmers can talk in the same way. I mean for example a Batronix BT48II. Here I would search in the porogrammers chip support page and try to find the type of chip.

Now connect the correct SPI pins and power supply to the chip and start the software with the programmer and try to reach the chip. One main problem to read the chips data could be set lock fuse bits, with a read disabled. So only an erase command can be executed. That depends on the datasheet and the type of the chip.
