VW e-Golf swapping wiring harness
Hi All,
Before starting with any questions, I would like to say that this forum is really great. I’ve found quite some intel already which have been helpful with some programming! Now starting my question… Three months ago I have bought an e-Golf (2015) from the US and got it shipped to the EU. Basically the main issues with this car in the EU is the supercharge / fast charge function. The car is equipped with this option but is combined with a J1772 plug (type 1) and in the EU the IEC 62196-2 plug (type 2). Since the range is quite terrible of the car and the regular charging time is around 7 hours, the fast charge function is for me necessary. After doing some research I decided to order the EU wiring harness (OEM codes: 5QE915925E 5GE971531N). After switching it ofcourse did not work and I started to use VCDS to change the coding. After trying a lot of different coding options it still did not work. So I have made a scan of an EU version of the Golf. I think I figured out where the problem is: The values in the adaption channels are different… In order to change these adaption channels within the “BD-Hi Volt. Batt. Charg" module I need the security access code. My question is now, does someone know what code to enter for this module? (please note I already tried the common codes). And if you have any other thoughts or considerations, please let me know. Thanks! |
