Hi everybody

I want to learn to edit hex files from ecu's, I have an mpps v16 interface and I can read the flash of my car, I obtain an hex file, but I don't know what software or process I need to read and understand this file.

There are much info about this question on internet, but all are about paid software or the info are confused for me.

Hi, i was waiting for this post, me too looking to start chiptuning, I found alot of video's on youtube how to work with winols, but some people say with winols very hard to work for beginners, ecm titanium alot easier, but it doesn't make some maps right. I bought kessv2 5.017 2.47 and waiting for delivery(clone) . I have a vw jetta 2011 1.6 tdi with simos ecu which one needs to unlock first.

Simos to hard for beginners,try find vag edc15 car. Edc15 easy ecu, you can use vagedcsuite for tuning and learn.
