Just want to know when you must read an eeprom as 8 bit or 16 bit |

it's depend which module but most are 16 bit

in most cases is x8 if you are not sure, than read both x8 and x16, than see what calculator need for properly reading km and choice the same. One is very important, if you read x8 than write x8 and opposite.
