CANCLIP interface fix and repair !
Hello all GA guys,
Here is a CANCLIP who underwent attempted repair ... he apparently had several problems including non-detection of the USB port, with one of two green LEDs off , and another on the multiplex network with unrecognized calculators ! So I set out to change and replace the components that had undergone attempted repair with Printed circuit tracks torn Components were: SJA1000T, PCA82C251 , CYPRESS AN2135SC and his quartz and two quartz 32.768kHz ! Here is the result after a good cleaning: Several tracks on PCB are gone.... .... noticed; Chinese , we do not sit too glue that they used ? ? So implementation of new components plus change the relay on the CAN card : CAN electronic board : Then reassembling the whole, connection on USB port + 12Vdc: All LEDs light up , that's a good sign. Installing drivers and outstanding : Then start the clip version V136 with RSWIN software activation : update firmware of RLT2002 probe : then attempt to read the VIN "empty" ( ie without vehicle) The test is quite conclusive, but let's get serious with tests on a Laguna2 ph2 (with diferent PC and V126 clip ... version ) : Identification VIN automatic , no worries ; I get the manual box and a range of 0 and is part of a network scan and end scan .... Message: check the integrity of the multiplexed detection and network computers 3 of 9 ! There is therefore still a big concern on this interface , but where ? ? ? ? ? ? If we look with another probe ( always Chinese ) but it works : Here what you get on a scan of the network architecture : On a small pattern found after on ethernet concerning the pin assignment of the OBD socket (on a megane 2) , there is high chance that the missing computers be associated with the terminal 7 of the decision ; ie the line out ISO 9141-2 K Let's start by looking at therefore continuity of all pinoches connector obd onto the card with the input interface connector. Here it is: At first sight nothing special, but when you take a multimeter and test continuity; we see this video: Incredible , no conduction immediately behind the pin round input and sounds canclip point nearest test connector .... So I redo the weld and the other in passing. I back all this and steering the car ; I raise the software and now i communicate with all calculators . Still problems welding ...... this is crazy .... Regards . |

And here have another version PCB of Clip interface (full chinese with very carefully cleaned marks on chips )
Quality tool as the beautiful woman...

RE: CANCLIP interface fix and repair !
Well yes it is thrue. This is a kind of Alliance ( maybe made by FLY )
It works with all Renault/Dacia/Nissan cars As I remmeber it coudn't connect in some k-line controlers in Nissan cars but it could connect in old Dacia cars up to 2004 ( as Solenza/SuperNova ) Bluetooth I couldn't pair it anymore Good luck |

RE: CANCLIP interface fix and repair !
Hi G.A guys, Here are a PCB CANCLIP interface ( bluetooth) recognized by clip software with the reference 926573 and can work with the NISSAN CONSULT software. This interface is slightly different than obdstart CAN electronic board : ISO electronic board : This interface is down, the green ISO LED does not light up ! ! Looking for a bit more meadows, using a multimeter we can see that the ISO LED is controlled directly from microprocessor on CAN electronic board via component and 2x35 points connector. So I redid the welds of these components. Another point on the CAN electronic board at the voltage converter 3.3Vdc -> 5Vdc ( LTC1871 ),we found a power MOSFET in case SOIC8 . I guess it is a FDS7760A following the LTC1871 datasheet (the reference of the component being buffed ! ) Here: This component is cooled through the ground plane ! This is why it is slightly over- high. Moreover, a drain tabs ( in this case the pin5 ) is not welded ? ? So I resoldered this component properly, taking care of the well -plated to ensure contact with the runway under thereof. After a test table with a 12Vdc power supply , the green ISO LED lights again . Recognition of the USB driver in the device manager : Updating firmware of the probe : Then direction vehicle, for a real test on a multiplex network : Playing a default on the parking brake : And now a new probe repaired. links : Voltage converter datasheet : LTC1871EMS ( LTSX marking code) MOSFET datasheet : FDS4072N3 ( guess the reference component being buffed !)
