tried to adjust my maps a bit.
- Driver Wish
- Smoke Limiter
- Torque Limiter
- Boost Limiter
- Boost Target

Is the mapping ok or will my turbo blow some day?

Questions:
Smoke Limiter: How can I find what mg/stroke my engine gets? Can a better air intake filter change the amount?
N57, SOI, Duration: How can I find out where the maps have bottlenecks?
SOI, Duration: How can I calculate the IQ for the SOI? Don't want to run too lean.

I have compared the files and have some questions:
1. Do I have to shut the EGR valve mechanically?
2. Why is injector duration map 5 still untouched? To prevent idle run problems?
3. What is that map at 485498 decimal for? "Launch control"?
4. Why is duration map touched and not SOI? Will the valve be open long enough? Does this prevent engine knock?

not all maps need to be modifyed for simple stage1 remap..and cant be explaned all in few words,if you want study I sugest you to look on winols tutorials there is nice explane for vag edc15 ecus and edcsuite also good for..good luck

Currently I am refactoring EDCSuite to be cleaner and extendable for newer ECUs. Doing that I can learn about the different ECU types and how files are parsed etc.

Watched most videos of vagecuremap already

Do you have any good writeup suggestions or books?

BTW: Just flashed your file and took it for a test drive: Works very nice and feels safer.
Missing the brutal torque a bit Did I put too much stress on the engine/gearing with my file?
