Hello. The code is EEPROM BR9010F( 93c46 ). You need to read EEPROM to learn the code.

Hello wahye,

Saw you message, hoped you could help me. I disconnected the battery from my Golf III to try it on a Fiat Barchetta I'm restoring. I put it back in the Golf and the radio is now asking for the SAFE code.

I've spent hours looking for it on the internet, no luck, and the local VW dealers are asking for more than the cost of the radio to give me the code, a total rip off.

Could you please help?

Car: Golf III
Car serial: WVWZZZ1HZWB058394
Radio: Gamma IV
Radio serial: VWZ3V1397471
