Please evaluate stage 1 file I have obtained

Want to know if it is dangerous to run in my car .

Have looked in win OLS and some maps are different but I cannot identify what the maps are as the DAMOS file I have is for a 512kb file and the tune file is 64kb

If you unzip the files they are indeed the same bytelength and have correct checksum as they flash with Galletto onto my DME (partial flash is intentional)



I have flashed the tune file to my backup DME and started the motor just fine but didnt want to stress the motor without a second opinion

Was hoping someone could give ma second opinion on the stage 1 tune vs stock

I´ve never seen so much spark advance in a M62TU eingine. All ignition maps are raised about 4,5 degrees.

Did you figure this out using WinOLS? 

Just trying to figure out how to get my feet wet playing with this ECU instead of paying for pre made tunes I wanna understand what I am doing to my motor / implimenting and not many tuners will explicitly break it down for you

Yes of course, i have taken a look with winols, but just the common maps, which are responsible for making more power. There, as i already said, i saw Sole of the ignition maps were raised 4,5 degrees.

Are you using a Damos or A2L file or are you using the "Bosche" maps found within win OLS

The Damos I have is from a ME7.2 4.4 e53 not an e39 and not sure if the offsets will match etc

You can use the Damos you are working with. All factors are the same. Same Maps have different size, but you can see  this at the beginning of the maps, which size they have.
