Is this fake AMB2300?
I saw someone selling separated AMB2300 bluetooth chipset, picture like below. But it's not like what Mr.fantomel posted. And in the back some parts are missing.
So is it fake AMB2300 module? Is there anyone changed the AMB2300 module separately and make shit clone work again? (Yes, I was fucked and bought a shit blue pcb clone...) BMW 5 Series and Audi Q4 e-tron user.
If it helps, please give rep , thanks! |

Thanks for reply.
Many sellers are selling VAS5054a with this fake AMB2300 which called 'B04 perfect version', I was planning to buy one, and now I have to give up. BMW 5 Series and Audi Q4 e-tron user.

@kiranabc, Thanks for reply.
As you said I doubt whether this AMB2300 could update firmware, and you make me clear. BMW 5 Series and Audi Q4 e-tron user.

(10-09-2018, 17:57 PM)kiranabc Wrote: i dont understand your Problem? The Chinese have put the HC-05 bluetooth module inside a lot of these "AMB2300" bluetooth modules. It looks very similar to a real AMB2300 in other clones. Lift the silver cover and see for yourself. The HC-05 bluetooth inside AMB2300 cover will not have any of the capacitors on the back of the bluetooth board. (soon they will probably fake that too) There are still clones out there being sold with real AMB2300 BT, and decent equipment. They will usually have crappy ram, but that's OK to change. |

Note, it's the more expensive $95 USD one! They came with 3.3V ram... but real bluetooth. OKI is never really needed, so who cares. I have had this version come with 5V ram, but 55ns sometime. So luck of the draw. It had correct TJA1055 and TJA1050. Some $20 in parts and some soldering and I made a good tool from it. |
