Hello everybody!
I have the question:
When reading ECU by OBD or BDM the files are the same or different?
When reading ECU by kess over OBD, is this file possible to be written on another car, with the same ECU but via ktag over BDM?

Usualy not..OBD reading = partial reading (maps areas)
BDM reading = Full read (you can clone it)

some ecus can be read full by obd but that depend on tool..chiptuning tools usualy reads out data for tunning,egr,dpf..etc

you can however normally write bdm by obd

E Class, W 211, 70KW, 2,2l, 16C31. After DPF off with DPF Remover the car won't start and ECU not comunicate with diagnosis. I wrote on BDM the original file readed by OBD and the car started.
