Any good reason to disable the lambda sensor............? Do you know by disabling the lambda sensor you will only not have a warning light but, the vehicle will still not run as it should be running..............

Hello, am interested in this thread. How do can one read the dumps off a Simtec ECU? They are sealed, and I tried openning one, it almost broke to unrecoverable.

I want to re-flash mine, they bring no immobilizer light, and I think they have a different  software version.

Simtec 71/71.1 are wellknown for bad wires inside. Your problem might be inside of the ecu. All the common tools read only a part of the flash and if you try to write them, you will get them blocked. You need a tool that read/write whole flash. If you were from Romania, i have could help you. No need to open it for reading, there is almoast impossible to find the bdm reading points on that pcb.
