How to chat with an old lady - BOSCH MP3.2
Hello,
I've tried for the last past weeks to chat with a Citroën XM from 1993. My diagbox version is 8.14 (I've also tried with the 7.02/7.06 version), I use the firmware tool that check diagbox version and change firmware if necessary) To do this I've used an XS evolution connected via the two pins interface and wich looks like this : With it, i'm able to receive/delete data from - HYDRAULIQUE SUSPENSION sensor - CLIMATE CONTROL sensor - ABS BENDIX sensor All of this sensors use a two pins connector but there's only one wire in it Unfortunatly I can't receive nor delete data from the - BOSCH MP3.2 This one use a two pins connector and has two wires plugged in it. I can hear the XS evolution "ticking" but I receive a "NO COMMUNICATION" answer. Few days later I've been able to borrow an other XS (an old one) wich cannot communicate with CAN cars (like mk2 307, DS3...) I've had the surprise to be able to communicate with the MP3.2 (suspension, ABS, climate sensors as well). This one looks like this Beside the fact that I find it very funny to chat with a 25 years old car, I'd like to know why the first XS interface isn't able to communicate with the car and if there's a solution to change that. Thanks |
