Yanhua ACDP mini programmer
i purchased yanhua acdp, no luck in using adapters for CAS3 and CAS4, i get pin detection error, i tested the pad on the both boards and the pins on the yanhua adapter are getting signal to the chip on both cas3 and 4, so the connection isnt the issue, it has to be defective yanhua product. i showed videos to yanhua and they told me to return or exchange
now has anyone else used this programmer? i mostly just want this for CAS4, as i have other programmers for cas3, but searching online i cannot find any reviews or feedback from anyone who is using this programmer. so before i exchange i want to see who else is using this programmer and your review on it? |

RE: Yanhua ACDP mini programmer
I've have only been using a month but so far no issue. I bought really for CAS4 as I have other programmers for keys, isn etc. I've had no issues with it so far and have done cas4, cas3, frm, key renew, retrived isn from MSD85. I use on laptop not phone and have very happy with it so far. Are you getting any pins detected, I could understand if maybe 1 or 2 pins not detected but if not able to detect any that would point to bad unit. Be sure to use their cleaning tool for pin connections, I tried without doing when I first got it and noticed I would get no detection on certain pins. Also make sure switch on side of OBP+ICP is not in can mode. So far the hardest part of using this tool was the initial setup and authorizations, been flawless so far.

Getting pin detection in two RES and ETX,both pin errors on cas4 and cas3, I tested make sure the pin has good contact by testing continuity from pad to chip, and can confirm good connection, I even directly soldered a wire from pin pad to the adapter so I can 100 be sure good connection and rule that out. But if you tell me you have good luck then I will try exchanging. Btw are you using pc usb drive to connect or using phone as middle man to connect to device? |

RE: Yanhua ACDP mini programmer
Yes I have had very good luck so far. The PC connection is wireless, 2.4MHz, will not work on 5G. Took me forever to find that out. Honestly the only trouble this unit gave me was setup and authorizations which really wasn't to bad once I understood the process. If you need help with PC setup let me know, I like it better as I don't have to worry about transferring files back over to it from phone. You can always upload files to phone so you have them both devices.
Also one last thing, make sure switch on OBP+ICP is not in CAN mode, easy to move when plugging in |

RE: Yanhua ACDP mini programmer
update:
received replacement yanhua and again same issue. i tried it on 3 different cas modules, 1 of them had a different chip. all same exact issue as last time. they only replaced the acdp unit and cas3 adapter not the connectors that connect to the adapter and the unit, so i assume the problem is with the connector. i used a multi-meter to check that the pads have good contact and i can verify that all modules i tested on each adapter pin had good contact to the cas board. returning completely. |
