HI 
How emergency open the boot/tail 
the top hardroof is faulty - still closed just the element with screen stuck on little open 
I try take axcess to boot where is the control module and pump but the tail dont want open  
no key remote or button , no any access from cabin so I cant pullout the emergency handle inside the boot 
maybe same one  know wiring / plug on front body module / plug black and blue ? / 
from my diagnostic - no errors on the system - I think the pump faulty 
any idea and help - WELCOME

You can try to open the trunk with ISTA+ should normally work when trunk lock is working.

the trunk lock is working , I was try by my diagnostics sw but is open little and close again /not full open / 
=  ISTA CAN OPEN IT ???

Hi, you can open trunk with Ista+ it is in JBBF unit. I diagnosed e89 with stuck roof last week. No error in CTM, in the end it was pump motor. What is your diagnostics?

You need Ista for these cars. Here you have a lot of useful information about e89. Maybe you can connect +12 to Grey/Green wire from trunk to JBE/JBBF pin 12 x14270

if you look in wire diagram , you should be able to open by suppling power direct to latch thru pin thru jbe  if I remember correct , good luck hope this helps good day

If your floor cover or lugagge Protection cover in trunk is not on its place and not pushing micro switch roof is not working! Check that switch is working first

All switch working ok and not errors

I was trying bypassing the switches that the module think the roof is closed and aloud me to open the trunk, was working one time after I try again and nothing.
I will try bypass power from junction box to boot lid central locking
