W203 2001 mileage
Hello, I have a problem with a w203 2001, I tried to change th mileage in the ezs and instruments cluster, but It keeps on changing it to 999999km, I have tried to change the ezs to 0km and set the desired mileage on the instrument cluster, also I have tried to set the mileage in the ezs and instruments cluster to be the same but to no avail it still switches to 999999km after a couple of minutes, any I ideas? Is it possible that I have to virgin the engine control unit after changing the mileage?

I had this problem once. the key is that when the mileage shows 9999999, there is one more data changed in the eeprom so even if you alter to 0Km or any other figure, it will still appear 9999999.
you will have to put the original dump back on the dash to rectify this. you can use the cheap R270 to program the EZS. wbr |

The way i do it is:
Set the dash to 0 Set exact km on EZS Conect dash then EZS |
