What's the solution to the 8 GB space? I am not even sure if i have 8GB or 16GB...my car's from June 2010 lol.

When its Production June 2010 you have 16GB unit.

Til 03/2010 have 8GB, 2019-1 will not fit even if you erase 8GB before its just to small, 2019-1 only fit 16GB.

Unit with 8GB have partnumer with last 3 digits 314 if you have other partnumer its always 16GB

Is your Car older as 03/2010 ?

If yes, then is the Flash too small, only 8GB, not enough for update.

Hi, so this means that although the files are unpacked 7.89GB, it is not possible to update the system with the 8GB Flash? (I have a E90 07/2009 with CIC Motion 2009-2)

West 2018-1 has a unpacked size 5.58GB, so this makes sense but why the 2019-1 (7.89GB) is not working? 
It would be very interesting to know if there is any possibility to do the new update 2019-1.

Install the 2018-01 maps instead, they are smaller and should be installed without any issue.
