Hello all,

As tittle says I want to eliminate the passenger seat, but the airbag error will remain on dash.
Anyone has experience coding the sound/visual alerts out?

F21 2012

Until now I have found this codings, related to Recaro seats:


SIDEBAG_LINKS_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is left side seat airbag.)

SIDEBAG_RECHTS_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is right side seat airbag.)

OC3_1
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the occupancy mat.)

For newer cars:

AKS_LINKS_1_CD
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the left side active head restraint.)

AKS_RECHTS_1_CD
aktiv (Make this nicht_aktiv, this is the right side active head restraint.)

I dont know whether F21 accepts these but try with VO codes:
+OI04 Deaktivierung Sidebag vorn rechts
+RECA Nachruestung Performance Sportsitz
Make sure SIDEBAG, AKS, SBE or OC3, AKS, GURTKONTAKT, GURTSTRAFFER (if you eliminate belt tensioner too), SBSBF, are turned to nicht_aktiv.

Also you need to read fault codes for airbag ECU. This will tell you why airbag light still on and indicate what you still need to code out.
