Star - Xentry - "No access authorisation code!"

YTMercedes  Star - Xentry - "No access authorisation code!"
Any Star experts on here?

Software Version: 15.3.4.2
Data Version: 09/2014
Windows OS: XP

I have, well had a working laptop until a few weeks ago.

Now when opening Xentry i get a error: "No access authorisation code!"

I have remove lic file and used keygen to add a new key, in the start key menu i am getting error "error in the system network configuration. Please check your settings''

The key dates are OK, as well as system clock.
Have googled etc but cannot figure out what i am missing.

I have many times using the key gen on the machine, however get the same errors.

Thank you.

Inputted that key which it accepts however I get the same error in StartKeyCenter -

XENTRY Diagnostics
“Error(s) in the system network configuration. Please check your settings”

What settings is it actually asking me to check?!

If I make a change to the registry - rename COMPACT4 to COMPACT2 then the message i get in StartKeyCenter is “StartKey server query was not successful)

Renaming it back to COMPACT4 the query runs but I get the original message “...error in system network config”

Why change registry settings when the previous ones have been fine.

Please post a screen capture from the latest error. If it is just SKC reporting about an error to access daimler servers, ignore that and go on. You are not supposed to reach that server.

Did you delete/create the key deletion protection file too?

Changed registry to see if it made a difference, back up was made so it was put back to how it was - no issue there.

Screenshot attached of error.

If I ignore error and attempt to open xentry I still get the “no access authorisation code” error

Could you explain more regarding the protection file?
